This page covers gmail-watch and any other small tool registered to this domain that connects to a Google account. Each one is a private utility written by me, used by me, on hardware I own. There are no other users and nothing here is offered as a product or service.
What the tool does
gmail-watch reads my own Gmail mailbox, with read-only permission, to notice replies to job applications I have sent. It runs on a computer in my home. It cannot send, delete, move or label mail.
What it stores
It keeps a short local record of which message threads it has already reported, so it does not report them twice, and it keeps a log line per run. Both files stay on that computer. Message contents are not stored.
What it shares
Nothing. No data is sent to any third party, sold, or used for anything other than the purpose above. Notifications go to me alone, on my own devices.
Access and deletion
Access can be revoked at any time from the connected applications page of the Google account. Removing the tool deletes its local record with it.
